The 2026 Summit Chinese New Year Celebration will be held on Feb 1st Sunday afternoon at LCJ Summit Middle School.  It is the Year of Fire Horse!  

From 1:30pm to 3:30pm there will be a variety of activities that kids will love, including lacquer fan and lantern making, paper cutting, and DIY a New Year refrigerator magnet.  Also, a traditional New Year food tasting will be held, featuring candied hawthorn, dumplings, rice cakes, and milk tea. This year, children can also roll up their sleeves and learn to make dumplings and rice cakes. 

From 3:30pm to 5:30pm, there will be spectacular traditional Chinese New Year performances at the auditorium.  It is a truly festive and joyful event you won’t want to miss!

2026 Summit 新春联欢会定于2/1周日下午在Summit 初中举行.  2026是中国农历火马年! 

从1:30 到 3:30pm, 有各种孩子超喜欢的游戏活动, 漆扇, 剪纸,灯笼, 还有新游戏DIY 新年冰箱贴. 新年美食品尝给大家带来传统经典糖葫芦饺子年糕和奶茶. 今年小朋友们还可以卷起袖子学着一起做饺子打年糕, 满满的热闹和喜庆! 朋友邻里聚到一起, 喜洋洋乐融融, 大家还有机会穿上汉服合影留念.

从3:30 到 5:30pm是传统新春联欢表演, 美妙绝伦异彩纷呈, 你一定不想错过!
